The story

A myth that wakes when night falls

According to Guaraní tradition, the Pombero is the guardian of the wilderness: a nocturnal spirit that punishes those who disturb its silence. Inside Studios took that legend and brought it to an isolated inland village, where a photojournalist arrives looking for a story — and ends up looking for a way out.

"It's not that the wilderness is hunting. It's that the wilderness never stopped watching."

Between gas masks, improvised medical instruments and villagers who no longer remember who they were, Pombero blends survival horror with South American folklore rarely explored in video games.
